The Speech-Language Pathology Department provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic treatment for speech and language disorders to students in preschool through grade 12 within the school setting.

The Miami County ESC speech-language pathologists provide services in the following areas:

• Receptive and expressive language disorders.

• Articulation and phonological disorders.

• Fluency (stuttering) disorders.

• Augmentative and alternative communication.

Through direct treatment and collaboration with classroom staff, it is the goal of the Speech-Language Pathology Department to provide quality services and to give each student a voice.
