Mrs. Smith's class has been learning about strong and healthy bodies. Today they went to the YMCA to lift weights, swim, play soccer and basketball. They had the best time!

The MC ESC Business Advisory Council had their quarterly meeting last evening. Thank you to Cassie Barlow from SOCHE and April Vanover from FastLane for sharing information about their internship programs with the group. Internships can be a valuable opportunity for students along with supporting the workforce needs for our local businesses.

Mrs. Smith's class has been learning about the food pyramid and healthy bodies this month. This week they went to Walmart to pick out healthy foods to prep and pack for their field trip to the YMCA on Friday!
Mrs. Prenger's class practiced functional communication skills at Applebee's. They placed orders, asked for help, made choices, and socialized with peers! Thank you Troy Foundation for this experience.
Mrs. Prenger’s class learned how to make ham and cheese sandwiches. A student was chosen as a team leader. The team leader delegated jobs to the students and gave directions as needed. They did an awesome job at working together and helping those who needed it.
