
Our students enjoyed decorating holiday cookies and opening their gifts from us. They each got a Pete the Cat book and stuff animal.











Mrs. Durbin’s class held a clothing and diaper drive for Seeds of Hope for their December service project. Their collected donations go to youth in foster care. What a way to share some love with the community during the holiday season! Great job students!

Mrs. Smith's and Mrs. Durbin's class had a Christmas party. They made haystack cookies, played a Christmas game, watched a magic show, and opened presents. They also had a special guest...THE GRINCH!











Mrs. Rogers’ class at Piqua Junior High School working on their communication skills comfort with socialization by hosting “Merry Muffins” so that they could share in the holiday spirit with family, friends and other educators.






Miss Embry’s class packaged their goodies. They’re ready to pass out the treats to staff members!


Mrs. Peltier's class had a great time choosing decorations, sharing and counting items to make gingerbread houses this week!





Mrs Shcherbyna's class made Christmas cards for senior citizens at Piqua nursing homes for their service project.


Mrs. Smith's class did a peppermint science experiment yesterday and then made peppermint hot chocolate to enjoy with a Hot Cocoa cookie. The class gave it 2 thumbs up! :)









Mr. Hahn's class made gift bags for the Bethany Center as their Christmas Service Project. Way to help the community! Nice Job!





Mrs. Rogers’ class at Piqua Junior High were busy at work decorating their own cooking aprons and learning to make 4 different kinds of muffins for their Merry Muffins party tomorrow afternoon!




Ms. Swanberg led a communication group with Ms. Hinkle’s class. The student’s used a recipe to identify each ingredient and to follow the step by step process. Students worked on taking turns and following directions.








Miss Embry’s class made holiday treats to pass out to staff members this week. They made buckeyes, chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels, white chocolate puffcorn, Hershey kiss pretzels, and puppy chow.



Mr. Hahn and Mrs. Petty's classes went to Walmart for a life skills trip. The students had a blast!





Miss Smith's class loved decorating their classroom Christmas tree!!
