Mrs. Smith's class read a story about Native American history. Today they made Fry Bread (a favorite overall) and Rain Sticks to celebrate Native American culture.
Mr. Hahn's class made breakfast for lunch today! French toast and scrambled eggs. The students enjoyed it!
Mrs. Smith's class went to Aullwood Nature Center to learn about Ecosystems. They also visited the Nature center to learn about Candles and their many uses. They were able to dip their own candle to bring home.

During a SS unit, Mrs. Peltier's students participated in Discover Dairy's "America's Favorite Calf" election. The students made campaign signs, hung them around the school and asked others to vote for Peony, their adopted calf. The results are in...and Peony won!

Mrs. Smith’s class used their building skills today to construct these awesome Fire dog Banks donated by Lowes Build and Grows.
Mrs. Durbin’s class did a geography and life skills lesson this week and learned about all the different ways to travel in the world. The students each chose a dream vacation destination, and planned their own trip.
On Halloween day Mrs. Prenger’s class dressed up to join the other high schoolers for trick or treating. They also followed step by step directions to fold, draw, and color their own Frankenstein folding picture.

Mrs. Smith's class enjoyed some Halloween fun and carved pumpkins today. Each student picked the face they wanted, cleaned out their pumpkin and helped carve it. We would like to give a huge thank you to Pumpkins for a Purpose for donating the pumpkins to our classroom.
Mrs. Durbin’s class enjoyed making monster donuts today in class. They researched different designs to create their monster, they learned how to measure, mix, and combine colors to get the color they wanted for their donut monster icing! They all said their creation was yummy!
Mrs. Prenger’s class voted on a pumpkin design. They chose Jack Skeleton. They then followed the steps to paint and draw to make their pumpkin look like the design. They all loved the project. Thank you Pumpkins for a Purpose for the pumpkin donation!
Mrs. Rogers class went on a hayride, picked pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, tried hot apple cider, met the barn animals, had an outside picnic lunch and worked on our community engagement and social skills at Fulton Farms!
