Tips from our SLP staff:
The value of play in a child's speech development is very important! While your child plays with toys and games, take the time to sit with them and model how the toy is used. Highlight its different parts. Use an animated voice.

Congratulations to Marcia Olivarez for receiving a grant from the Miami County Foundation to purchase items to create active learning materials that will support learning for preschool students with disabilities. Thank you to the Miami County Foundation!


Mrs. Wolfe's class extended their learning to the community on Tuesday. They learned about banking and withdrawals at Chase Bank. Then practiced functional communication skills while ordering lunch at Wendy's. Thanks to Troy Foundation

Mrs Ruzicka's class at Tippecanoe HS took a trip to Frisch's for lunch and then headed over to Menard's to buy supplies for Mother's Day gifts.

Mr. Wilson's class has been busy! Students went on a field trip to Carillon Park. They also worked on fine motor skills by creating beautiful artwork.
